snow tubing at snowqualmine (: /11:20 PM

*listening to a nice song introduced by yingxian- Need you now by Lady Antebellum. Go listen if you're cool (:

snowtubing wasn't as exciting as skiing, but the company was GREAT! we took a rest by the falls on the way up to snowqualmine. The waterfalls were quite scenic. Really wonder if the waterfall would ever freeze up in winter when the weather turns cold. I bet it would, and it would be rather cool to witness it firsthand. Joanne mentioned that she actually entered the out-of-bounds trail "illegally" the previous time she was there. went straight down to the bottom of the falls where the riverbed is! that's really kinda awesome(: I would really love a picture with the waterfalls plunging behind me! Reminds me of negara falls- one day, just one day, i must really visit that place!

I love my funky headgear! The purple one with the really long ropes hanging out! For one, I definitely wouldn't dare to wear that in singapore. But in the united states~ who cares (: haha! well, one big motivation was dick and everyone else. Dick's just so expressive, he makes me feel at ease when he's just himself. Though there are definitely other americans who find him weird and give him those weird looks when he comments out loud and (ALWAYS) try to be cheeky. But still, i love him as he is! (: So glad that he's my host dad! and there's JILL of course who made dinner that night! jill's really mother. We had a small but great talk that morning when i reached. She asked me about school and all, and the conversation just went great! it's nice to know that she really cares(:

At snowqualmine, we played with FRESH snow and we made our mr snowman! well, i didn't really participate cos my knees were giving me the problems! but i did throw some snowballs at joanne and manni! The gang was great(: they're so happy. I feel like a small kid once again(: Tubed for 2 hours- definitely exhausting. Not the slide down, but the walking up! the slope was gently steep but it was still hard work. Well, generally walking on snow is hard work! 2 hours was good, I prolly slid down for close to 12 times? around there. half the time on my belly and the other half comfortably seating in the tube/
got back home exhausted. joanne, manni and I practically slept on the whole way back (and yes, on the whole trip there) we are sleeping princesses (: dinner was great! hanging out with jill and dick was awesome! the ladies had a great ladies conversion about jewellery, clothes, boys and all not (: we all just didn't wanna get back to the "REALITY" of studying and preparing for exams in the coming week!

anyway horrible exams today. I was just too exhausted when I reached the essay section for the consumer behaviour midterms. 40 points just flew away like THAT. *poof! gone! but then again i self-console myself by telling myself i just have to pass. ohwells. my dad will kill me if he finds out i have such a mentality. but he wouldn't know (:

i have a financial markets paper due on thursday. balduzzi balduzzi, why you make life so difficult for meeee =( i am screwed. i am just going to crap i suppose! comeon, my class has like MBA, PHD students. the undergraduates are just gonna screw up! my life would be better after thursday, good for a day and back to studying for investments class! comparatively, my school life is slack, but still I HAVE TO STUDYY =X grrrrr. aint exchange suppose to all fun and all play? everyone's complaining. those who have more work than me complains too, but lesser than me i suppose. OK. i should just SHUT UP and be contented. MUHAHAHA.

UH! i talked to zachary, my dormmate who stays just right across me today! We exchanged contact (: woots! one more familiar face in hansee (: i shall offer him more food some other time!

how it all started
Exchanging at the Seattle's University of Washington in winter & spring 2010, wendy embarks on her journey of discovery of the usa-a country so renowned for its sheer size and economy.

She has heard so much about the states yet knows so little. this time, it marks for a huge exploration.
